From Parents on Performance Coaching ...
“Lyndsey does an amazing job working on variety of strength, speed, and agility but what I find most enticing about lyndsey’s coaching is her focus on the mental approach. she stresses the importance of a positive attitude, what it takes to be a high performer such as getting a good night’s sleep and eating correctly. her training is more than a workout, she is offering the participants a view into what made her a successful division I athlete. it has been great for all three of my kids.”

"LYNDSEY IS PASSIONATE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE AND GREAT WITH YOUNG PEOPLE. SHE HAS FOREVER CHANGED MY CHILD BY HELPING HER TO FIND HER PASSION (LOVE OF LAX) AND BELIEF IN HERSELF. LYNDSEY HAS HELPED MOLD MY DAUGHTER INTO A CONFIDENT AND FEARLESS GOALIE (AND YOUNG LADY) WHO WANTS TO LEARN MORE AND TRY NEW THINGS. LYNDSEY HAS COACHED AND ENCOURAGED MY DAUGHTER TO WORK HARD AND CONTINUALLY IMPROVE HER GAME AND TO DO SO WITH INTEGRITY, DEDICATION, AND A GREAT ATTITUDE. BECAUSE OF LYNDSEY, MY GK DAUGHTER WANTS TO PLAY IN COLLEGE AND BEYOND AND HAS HAD MANY OPPORTUNITIES IN PLAY AND EXPOSURE ONLY MADE POSSIBLE BY LYNDSEY'S MENTORSHIP . I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT LYNDSEY'S PASSION AND DEDICATION TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE THAT ARE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO WORK WITH HER. "
"The position is almost as much mental, as it is physical. The resilience and coping skills required for even 8th or 9th graders at the top of the game are staggering. You build the confidence through perspective required to weather the storms of being in the cage and enjoying it! Your peer approach and "moral support" is conducive to building successful keepers, mentally and physically.”

"We were lucky enough to come across Lyndsey in a clinic. In that first clinic, the amount of growth in speed and skill was exponential from any previous training. We moved our daughter to 1:1 training and have continued to work with her privately. The thing we most appreciate with Lyndsey is her approach to working on developing the full athlete. She truly values and cares about every aspect of our daughter - nutrition, mental health, sleep, skills and personal happiness. Our daughter is neurodivergent, so her ability to understand coaching or receive feedback isn’t the same as most athletes. Where we’d previously felt frustration from other coaches, Lyndsey has doubled down and worked to improve her knowledge of our daughter’s ADHD and techniques needed to work with her - seeing it instead as an opportunity for her personal coaching growth by improving her knowledge of ADHD and making adjustments where needed. Our daughter has continued to stay engaged, enjoys working with her, and has continued to grow season after season. We can’t say how much her personal commitment to our daughter’s growth has meant to all of us. She is genuinely a part of our family now."
"Lyndsey approach to coaching is outstanding. She is passionate about lacrosse and improving her players. She takes an individualized approach with each player ensuring they establish and achieve their goals both short and long term. Lyndsey not only provides lacrosse skills and tactics but she teaches the mental aspects of the game. The skills and experience she provides enables her players to not only be better on the field but also in their day to day lives which will benefit them their whole lives. Lyndsey is a true role model and anybody who gets to work with her will realize how amazing she truly is and how much your player’s abilities will advance."
“Our experience with Lyndsey can be summed up with the following words: dedicated; caring; passionate.
From the start, our situation was quite different than most. We live in Richmond and had to figure out a system that would work for not only us, but also for Lyndsey. Lyndsey was dedicated come rain or shine; she accommodated our situation as best she could and always searched for a win-win; and she gained respect and admiration from our daughter because her coaching produced results on and off the field.
Lyndsey also truly cares about the well being of her athletes. She spent the time to connect with our daughter, providing encouragement, support, and general optimism throughout their time together. And she was not afraid to be direct and coach our daughter up as needed given the situation. She used all styles of communication (text, email, and video) to deliver her messages and was there when it was needed the most.
Finally, Lyndsey is passionate about her craft. She could have easily told us that she could not accommodate our situation, however, she made it work, with a long term mindset much needed in today's competitive athletic landscape. And she combines this with her experience as a former Division 1 athlete and coach. She has the experience and backs it up and is a great role model for our daughter and those in the lacrosse world.”
From Goalies …
"Before I started working with Lyndsey I was a completely different goalie than I am today. From technique and form to the mental aspect of being a goalie she has helped me improve my game tremendously. Being a goalie you are essentially set up to fail at your job. Balls will go in, that's the game of lacrosse. Lyndsey has helped me realize this and has allowed me to grow as a player. She has taught me countless ways to deal with the frustrations and refocus myself to be in the moment. Finding Lyndsey to be my goalie coach was one of the best things that could've happened to my lacrosse career. Lyndsey is also extremely knowledgeable about the goalie position. Offering high-level coaching that will also allow you to develop your skills. If you need a goalie coach Lyndsey is definitely is one of the best out there!"
"I've learned a lot regarding tips for in the cage, but also ways to build my confidence and be an all-around better player."

“Your program has helped me beyond belief. I feel stronger mentally and physically.”
“My weight has fluctuated my entire life, and I’ve tried several different diets and workout plans before. When I started working with lyndsey, I was the heaviest i’ve been in a long time, and nothing I had tried on recently fit. my goal was to lose the weight and keep it off. I’ve been working with lyndsey for several months and I have nothing but praise for her program! MY BMI has dropped below obese for the first time in years and I feel amazing in my clothes. not only has her plan worked (I’ve lost over 20 lbs!), but it was also extremely easy to follow. i never felt like i was depriving myself, and she was able to adjust the plan weekly to accommodate different events going on in my life. the other thing that i believe really helped me was the personal touch. i can easily follow a plan on my own, but having her touch base with me weekly (at minimum) kept my motivation up and helped me trouble shoot and stay honest with myself. i would not have had the same success if not for her. she is 100% worth the investment - i’m loving how i look and feel.”

"I have been coaching Youth and High School sports for over 30 years. The one area of coaching that has always been the most challenging to me has been understanding how to train Goalies on my girl’s lacrosse programs. Resources have been almost non-existent and most of my work with my goalies has been educated guesses and trial and error. The first time I spoke with Lyndsey and got some specific instruction the search for help was over. Her obvious expertise and positive approach to teaching have finally given me a resource to properly train my goalies.”
“I had the incredible opportunity to work with Lyndsey as a lacrosse goalie coach instructor, and I cannot emphasize enough how valuable her expertise and support were in developing my goalies and enhancing our in-season practices. Finding effective drills and practice plans for lacrosse goalies can be a challenging task, but Lyndsey's dedication and analytical approach made the entire process seamless.
Lyndsey took the time to thoroughly analyze individual player game footage, ask pertinent questions, and gather essential information before creating customized drills for each one of my goalies. Her attention to detail and commitment to tailoring solutions to our specific program needs truly set her apart. The drills she designed not only developed different types of goalies but also contributed significantly to on-field performance.
What impressed me most was Lyndsey's accessibility and willingness to address any questions I had. She made the entire collaboration process easy and even went the extra mile by providing custom videos for drills, ensuring clear visual guidance for implementation.
If you're a coach facing challenges or looking to elevate your goalies' skills, I highly, recommend Lyndsey as a valuable tool for your specific goalie coaching program. Her expertise not only benefits your players but also enhances your abilities as a coach. Working with Lyndsey was a game-changer, and I'm grateful for the positive impact she had on our lacrosse program.”

One Player’s Top Takeaways from Mindset Talk …
1) Even though you may be struggling mentally, you can get through it and it's not inevitable. I loved how she admitted that yeah, there will be times when you aren't in the best place, but you also gave realistic solutions.
2) I'm not the only one. I recently went through the same mental struggle that she went through in college, about doubting yourself and never quite recovering until a while after an event. It made me feel less like something was wrong with me and less of an outsider.
3) You don't have to be perfect. This is similar to number one, but I liked how she said that you don't have to be perfect, but you do have to try. You have to get over your mistakes, accept that they will happen, and move on (but don't slack off on purpose).
4) Hold yourself accountable and have others do the same. Push yourself and have someone to tell you "get off your butt and start working" like her teammates in high school.
